The unethical: is any deed, or thought, or emotion that if affected or performed degrades your status as a decent responsible human being.
In other words any thought, act, or emotion that doesn’t help you elevate your behaviour and Psyche and thoughts is unethical.
If drinking could get you to a point where you behave in an irresponsible way then drinking is unethical bec it might lead you to misbehave.Drinking doesn’t help you become a better and more behaved human being then i would regard it as unethical…and so forth.
All what opposes our religions is unethical bec religions aim at elevation of the humans mind, psyche, and conduct.
Manners and morals…which is more important ? think about it for a while.
